The SCAR L WE is a Gbbr replica of the FN SCAR Light, a well known 5.56 assault rifle. The gun shown in the video is not mine, but Iron Skull’s, he customised his gun with RA-Tech parts (NPAS, inner barrel, Hop Up) and a Angry Gun Super Rapid Fire Buffer Kit.
This kit reduces the bolt course, which increase the rate of fire, but deactivates the bolt catch, because the bolt doesn’t go back enough to activate it. Iron Skull likes this configuration, although on a personnal point of view, I find the deactivation of the bolt catch very sad on a Gbbr.
The NPAS allows to adjust the power of the gun, which explains why I didn’t make chrony test.
Seems to be a very nice gun overall, consider it if you want a Gbbr Scar (it’s not like you had a lot of choice anyway, I believe this is currently the only Gbbr Scar on the market).
Easter egg : ok, now that I have indicated 5 times why the bolt catch doesn’t work on this gun (1 time in the description, 1 time in the title, 1 time via annotation in the video and 2 time via subtitles), I wonder how much time I’m going to have the question being asked in the comments.

Le SCAR L WE est une réplique Gbbr du FN Scar Light, un fusil d’assaut en 5,56 bien connu désormais. La réplique présentée dans cette vidéo n’est pas à moi, c’est un custom appartenant à Iron Skull. Il a customisé sa réplique avec des pièces RA-Tech (NPAS, canon interne, hop up), ainsi qu’un kit Angry Gun Super Rapid Fire Buffer.
Ce kit réduit la course du bolt, ce qui augmente la cadence de tir mais désactive le bolt catch, puisque le bolt ne recule désormais plus assez pour qu’il puisse activer le bolt catch. Iron Skull aime bien cette configuration, bien que personnellement, je trouve la désactivation du bolt catch bien triste sur un Gbbr.
Le NPAS permet d’ajuster la puissance de la réplique, ce qui explique pourquoi je n’ai pas fait de test au chrony.
La réplique m’a l’air vraiment sympa d’une façon générale, n’hésitez pas à la considérer si vous voulez un Scar Gbbr (c’est pas comme si y’avait tellement de choix de toute façon, c’est le seul Scar Gbbr sur le marché à l’heure actuelle, du moins à ma connaissance).
Easter egg : ok, maintenant que j’ai indiqué 5 fois la raison pour laquelle le bolt catch ne fonctionne pas sur cette réplique (1 fois dans la description, 1 fois dans le titre, 1 fois via une annotation dans la vidéo et 2 fois via les sous-titres), je me demande combien de fois la question va m’être posée dans les commentaires…
