Theta optics operator red dot review

I got a request to do a video review of a red dot by Theta Optics sold by Gunfire.pl and tried to give my best doing it.
THe red dot itself is overall nicely built and seems to have solid quality.
The outer appearance looks to be like an aimpoint comp M4, so it might be a replica of that.
The sight weights about 420g, is not very bulky and comes with flip-up covers, which is good, since it will protect your lenses from scratches.
It also has both the red and the green dot present and the regulation steps are distinquishable.
The adjustment of the dot can be done by unscrewing the two caps – one on top and one on right side. The adjustment itself can be made wit a coin or a flathead screwdriver.
One weird thing I noticed was, that it had some rubber retainers for the caps, but they did not hold on to anything, so to me they seemed quite pointless.

I have used this red dot for couple of skirmishes and I must say I like the wide viewing angle and that the dot is small. Personally I like this kind of red dots, so my opinion might be a little biased 🙂
All in all solid red dot for your airsoft replica, with some quirky rubber retainers and a tad too high pricetag, otherwise would totally recommend
